| 2009 - Stephens did not have an outstanding year with UCLA, but he was not involved as much as normal as he was rotting away on the bench of the U20 national team's world cup adventure. He still has 7 helpers this season and an integral part of this UCLA program. They are in the final 8 of the College cup and if they can go on a run and win this thing, his stock will rise. I really think Stephens will be a mid first rounder. 2008 - Michael Stephens is one of the players to watch out for this season. He could be a top 3 pick if he choses to play in the MLS. Last season he had an incredible breakout year scoring 7 goals and adding 9 helpers for the bruins. There was talks of him being offered a generation adidas contract last year but turning it down to finish his senior year in college.
